Highlights of the Surroundings

Treetop Walkway:
A unique, year-round attraction offering stunning views of the dam and the Alps. Reach the top by cable car or Stezkabus, and for an exciting descent, rent a scooter.

Forest Kingdom:
A family park located right next to the Treetop Walkway. Dozens of attractions, giant trampolines, and a forest zoo will challenge the agility of both children and adults.

Vítkův Hrádek:
The highest-lying castle ruin in Bohemia, located near Přední Výtoň. From its observation tower, you’ll see all of Lipno laid out before you.

Lipno in Motion

Cycling:
Five interconnected cycling trails with connections to the Austrian side. For adrenaline lovers, a professional Bike Park is available at Lipno Ski Resort.

Lakeside Inline Skating Trail:
An excellent trail right along the lake shore. The section between Lipno and Frymburk is illuminated in the evenings. For the more active, we recommend a 21 km loop using the ferry from Frýdava to Přední Výtoň.

Resort Entertainment:
Don’t feel like venturing far? Play a game of mini-golf right here at JBX Avenue.

What to do on a rainy day?

Aquaworld Lipno:
The perfect place for fun and relaxation, whatever the weather. Enjoy water attractions, pleasant swimming, and relaxation on days when the weather isn’t ideal for outdoor activities.

Hopsárium Lipno:
You’ll find the first and only family playground in the Lipno region right in the Aquaworld building in Lipno nad Vltavou. Hopsárium offers children a space for active fun, whatever the weather.

Butterfly House – Papilonia:
Step into a magical world full of colors and discover the beauty of dozens of unique butterfly species from around the world.

Road Bike Rental

Lipno is ideal for cycling – whether you’re heading out for a leisurely ride around the lake or tackling a longer route through the Šumava landscape. If you prefer not to bring your own bike, we’ll gladly arrange a rental for you.

We offer top-of-the-line Specialized Tarmac SL8 road bikes with Shimano Ultegra electronic shifting, which will be prepared and adjusted to your needs. We also provide recommendations for local routes.

For more demanding riders, it’s also possible to arrange the services of a cycling guide. We arrange bike rentals in cooperation with the local rental shop LIVELO:

Bobsled Run:
The bobsled runs at Lipno are a fantastic year-round destination for families, schools, and active fun enthusiasts. Enjoy an extraordinary ride with beautiful views of Lipno Lake.

Rope Park:
Head to Lipno Rope Park with your family or friends and enjoy an adventure full of rope obstacles and beautiful views of Lipno Lake.

Educational Trail to the Sheepfold:
Follow in the footsteps of Lipno’s history and discover the local nature, fauna, and flora in a fun way. On the 2.7 km long trail with interactive elements, a Šumava sheep will guide you and your children.

Water and Relaxation

Swimming and Water Sports:
Our properties offer excellent access to the water. From JBX Avenue and Apartments, you can reach the main beach in 7 minutes, while Hotel Albatros in Přední Výtoň boasts one of Lipno’s most beautiful and tranquil beaches almost within reach. Lipno Lake is also ideal for windsurfing, paddleboarding, and yachting.

Aquaworld Lipno:
An ideal choice when the weather isn’t cooperating. From the properties in the center of Lipno nad Vltavou, you can reach the pools in 10 minutes on foot, and from Přední Výtoň, it’s just a few minutes by car.

Lipno Hydroelectric Power Plant:
The Lipno I Hydroelectric Power Plant is part of the Vltava Cascade, and its reservoir, covering almost 50 km², is the largest artificial lake in the Czech Republic.
